This week at Fusion:
Songs for the Road: Worship
Psalm 122

This Sunday, we continue our summer sermon series titled "Songs for the Road," which is a 15-week journey through the Psalms of Ascents (Psalms 120-134).  These were the songs the people of God recited while making their way up to the city of Jerusalem for the annual pilgrim festivals and they continue to give voice to the pilgrim journey of Christ followers today.  This week, we consider the regular practice of corporate worship that is represented in Psalm 122.  We hope to explore why the regular gathering of God's people for worship is such an important aspect of apprenticeship to Jesus.  Why does this thing we do on Sundays matter?

Monday Morning Men’s Group

Monday Morning Men’s Group

Join us at Russ' Northside on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for a gathering of men. Each gathering will be focused on two Catechism Question and Answers from The Gospel Way Catechism, starting the conversation with the question: "What did you underline from this week's readings?" all while enjoying breakfast together. Celebration Campus Pastor Bill Lindner will facilitate.

The Gospel Way Catechism

In a world flooded with competing visions of meaning and purpose, now more than ever, we need to return to the gospel as the ultimate lens through which we understand life.

For centuries, Christians have passed down the faith through a time-tested tool: the catechism—clear, question-and-answer summaries that ground believers in biblical truth. The Gospel Way Catechism revives this historic practice for the modern era, offering 50 essential Christian beliefs in a simple, accessible format.

But this isn’t just about learning doctrines. Each answer not only teaches foundational truths but also equips you to recognize and resist the dominant cultural narratives shaping our secular age. As you are formed by gospel truth, you are also counter-formed—trained to spot the flaws in self-centered worldviews and respond with the life-giving story of Jesus.

Our work projects around Holland, Michigan make a difference to families, children, and organizations that are working to make God’s world the place He wants it to be. Your group stays at Harderwyk Ministries in airconditioned sleeping rooms with hot showers, great meals, and plenty of free time to spend at the beach, downtown, or just relaxing after the day’s work.
The cost for the week is $200 which includes costs for our day away tubing down the Muskegon River. This will be your best week of the summer! To sign up or for a scholarship info please contact nate@harderwyk.com.

Our 22nd Annual Summer Service Week will be held July 19-24. We provide three meals a day to hungry Middle School Students, High School Students, and Adult Leaders who gather for a week-long stay on our campus. Each day, the students pack a healthy lunch before they go out and serve in the Holland/Zeeland area at several different worksites through out our community. Monday Morning Men's Group

Fusion Sunday Worship

Fusion is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Rev. JB Wernlund serves as Campus Pastor. With a keyboard-led worship style, Fusion encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This week at Fusion:
Songs for the Road: Providence
Psalm 121

This Sunday, we continue our new sermon series titled "Songs for the Road," a summer-long journey through the Psalms of Ascents (Psalms 120-134).  These were the songs the people of God recited while making their way up to the city of Jerusalem for the annual pilgrim festivals and they continue to give voice to the pilgrim journey of Christ followers today.  This week, we consider God's providence as beautifully described in Psalm 121.  This psalm assures us of God's protection over our entire lives, and this week we will explore what that means for us on the journey of faith.

Providence
Psalm 121

Life's journey often leads us through seasons of deep trial where we wonder if God is truly paying attention and the other hills we go to for help fall short. This Sunday, we will dive into Psalm 121 to find a beautiful, reassuring vision of God's providence—a promise that the Maker of heaven and earth is actively keeping and preserving you at all times and in all places.
