Celebration Sunday Worship
Celebration is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Dr William Lindner serves as Campus Pastor. With a "vibrantly classic" worship style marked by strong congregational singing and organ, Celebration encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.
This Week's Sermon Information:
Sermon: Longing For More: We Waver
Text: Isaiah 40:18-26
Key Verse: Isaiah 40:25 - To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.
Sermon Snapshot: Created as image-bearers of the LORD, our lives were intended to be filled with joy. But infected by the virus of sin, our sickness leads us to search for joy in places and sources from which it cannot be found. Our thrills soon go flat and leave us disappointed. Only by the grace of Jesus do our hearts find true love and a source of life that gives the joy we were created for.
Congregational Singing This Week:
Joyful Joyful We Adore You
How Great Our Joy
Joy To The World
Prelude:
Of the Father’s Love Begotten - Wilbur Held
O Lord, How Shall I Meet You - Paul Manz
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel arr. Lani Smith
Karen Howells, organ
Postlude:
A Festal Fanfare - J S Bach
Karen Howells, organ

This week at Watershed:
Longing For More Joy
Isaiah 40:12-26
Our hearts long to be filled, and often we look at things and people to do that for us. What God reminds us of through Isaiah 40 this week is that only He can truly fill that longing. There is no one or nothing that can fill us with the sustaining joy that God alone longs to provide.

Grief Share
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues, and you feel alone. We invite you to join GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. In this 12-week faith-based class, we listen to others (video experts and testimonies); we listen to each other (sharing in small groups about how we can GROW forward); and we listen to God (guided by scriptures/workbook). Let us walk together through grief toward healing and hope for the future. A light supper will be provided. Cost $20 per person (workbook).

Then as we gather, we will start the conversation with the question: "What did you underline from the previous week's readings?" - while enjoying breakfast together. Celebration Campus Pastor Bill Lindner will facilitate.
Devotional Reading Dates: November 25 thru December 8
