The gym is open for various gym activities like basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, etc.  There is always a free meal to enjoy, like tacos, spaghetti, nuggets, or other home cooked meals.  The game tables and video games will be up and running, and it's a great place to meet all of your friends after school.  The doors open at 3:00, and we close at 8:00, but students can arrive and depart anytime within that time frame.  

So, students... If you're looking to get out of the house, and a great place to meet up with your friends... The Anchor is THAT place!

We invite you to join a friendly caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. In this 12-week class, we listen to others; we listen to each other; and we listen to God. Let us walk together through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

Join us as we explore The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, and other helpful tools to navigate how smartphones, social media, and changes in childhood have shaped the lives of today's young people.

This class is designed to help parents better understand the challenges facing their children, gain practical insights for raising healthy and resilient kids, and engage in meaningful discussions with other parents. We will welcome counselors and child psychologists to join us in our discussions.

The roller coaster of emotions you’ve been experiencing feels that much steeper and more intense as the seasonal traditions approach. This one-time seminar may help by providing a space for you to share and listen to others who know what you’re going through. The gym is open for various gym activities like basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, etc.  There is always a free meal to enjoy, like tacos, spaghetti, nuggets, or other home cooked meals.  The game tables and video games will be up and running, and it's a great place to meet all of your friends after school.  The doors open at 3:00, and we close at 8:00, but students can arrive and depart anytime within that time frame.  

So, students... If you're looking to get out of the house, and a great place to meet up with your friends... The Anchor is THAT place!

PARENTING IN A DIGITAL AGE
Why are so many kids and teens struggling with anxiety, loneliness, and mental health challenges today? Join us as we explore The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, and other helpful tools to navigate how smartphones, social media, and changes in childhood have shaped the lives of today's young people.

This class is designed to help parents better understand the challenges facing their children, gain practical insights for raising healthy and resilient kids, and engage in meaningful discussions with other parents. We will welcome counselors and child psychologists to join us in our discussions.

This group meets in the Boathouse Fireside Room on Wednesday evenings following our Community Night dinner, November 11 & 18.

The Function is now a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade event that takes place from 6 to 9 pm at the Anchor Youth Building, once every other month, through the school year. Admission cost is $10 and wrist bands can be purchased at the door (with proof of age…student I.D.) or here on the Harderwyk Student Ministries App. Activities include dancing, open gym, game tables, karaoke, video games, photo booth, crafts, pizza, pop and more!

The Hope Christmas Store is held every December to help families in need obtain gifts for their children.  Neighbors Plus and Harderwyk Ministries host this Saturday morning store where parents can buy one gift per child at a greatly reduced price.  Store entrance is by invitation and entry tickets are required to attend.
