Monday Morning Men's Group

Monday Morning Men's Group

Join us at Russ' Northside on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for a gathering of men. Each gathering will be focused on two Catechism Question and Answers from The Gospel Way Catechism, starting the conversation with the question: "What did you underline from this week's readings?" all while enjoying breakfast together. Celebration Campus Pastor Bill Lindner will facilitate.

The Gospel Way Catechism

In a world flooded with competing visions of meaning and purpose, now more than ever, we need to return to the gospel as the ultimate lens through which we understand life.

For centuries, Christians have passed down the faith through a time-tested tool: the catechism—clear, question-and-answer summaries that ground believers in biblical truth. The Gospel Way Catechism revives this historic practice for the modern era, offering 50 essential Christian beliefs in a simple, accessible format.

But this isn’t just about learning doctrines. Each answer not only teaches foundational truths but also equips you to recognize and resist the dominant cultural narratives shaping our secular age. As you are formed by gospel truth, you are also counter-formed—trained to spot the flaws in self-centered worldviews and respond with the life-giving story of Jesus.

Luke 18: 35-43

Join us as we continue in our new sermon series on the Witnessing Life titled "Bless Others" where we will journey through the (B.L.E.S.S.).  Our hope is to discover how each and every follower of Jesus is called to be his Witnesses through the blessing of others.  This week we will explore the importance of "listening."  Today, we have lost an appreciation for the art of listening, but when we listen well (as Jesus modelled in ministry), we honor others and show them our love and concern.  May we learn from Jesus' example this week, found in Luke 18, and continue to grow in how we tangibly express our love for our neighbors.

As we continue to explore what it means to B.L.E.S.S. the world around us, this week, we are exploring how Jesus listened to people.  His listening tore down walls that often lead people to dismiss others, showed His willingness to slow down and dignify people, and led to lives being changed. Hopefully, our lives can reflect that same grace-filled and loving posture.

Begin with Prayer
Luke 6: 12-19

Join us as we begin a new sermon series on the Witnessing Life titled "Bless Others" where we will journey through an acronym (B.L.E.S.S.).  Our hope is to discover how each and every follower of Jesus is called to be his Witnesses through the blessing of others.  This week we will explore our starting point - prayer.  Prayer has the power to direct and change hearts, and this is where blessing others begins.

Watershed Sunday Worship

Watershed is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI.
Rev. Aaron VanDerVeen serves as Campus Pastor. With a guitar-led modern worship style, Watershed encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This week at Watershed:
Begin with Prayer
Luke 6:12-19

If we are going to know where, how, have the energy for, and with whom we are to be a blessing it will be essential for us to follow Jesus’ example and live a life full of prayer.  Prayer shapes our reality with God’s, aligns our hearts with God’s will, and helps to put us in position to let Christ’s life flow through us to others.

Celebration Sunday Worship

Celebration is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Dr William Lindner serves as Campus Pastor. With a "vibrantly classic" worship style marked by strong congregational singing and organ, Celebration encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This week at Celebration:

Communion Sunday We do not come to this supper claiming any merit in ourselves. On the contrary, we come testifying that we seek our salvation apart from ourselves and instead, in Jesus Christ. Form for the Celebration of the Lord's Supper II (1964)

BLESS Others: Begin With Prayer
Luke 6:12-19
For the most part, both believers and non-believers would say that Jesus prayed a lot. What we see in this passage though, is that the way Jesus prayed was very different than most non-believers think of prayer - and amazingly, different than many believers as well! For Jesus, prayer was not so much about the answers he got, as it was about the work of the Father that he joined. It can increasingly be like that for each of us as well.

Open Anchor

The Anchor Youth Building is open almost every single Tuesday and Thursday night (except on holidays) throughout the year for students to drop in and hang out!  There is no cost (it's completely free), and any students who want to attend, who are currently in middle or high school, are welcome to join us!

The gym is open for various gym activities like basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, wiffle ball, etc.  There is always a free meal to enjoy, like tacos, spaghetti, nuggets, or other home cooked meals.  The game tables and video games will be up and running, and it's a great place to meet all of your friends after school.  The doors open at 3:00, and we close at 8:00, but students can arrive and depart anytime within that time frame.

So, students... If you're looking to get out of the house, and a great place to meet up with your friends... The Anchor is THAT place!

So, parents... If you're looking for something for your kids to do during those long winter months (and beyond) that is free, and provides a positive and supervised place for your students to be... The Anchor is THAT place!

Come check it out and see for yourself if it's a good fit for you and your friends!  You've got nothing to lose.  It's free
