Solomon, the man who built Jerusalem's Temple, writes a surprising warning to the builder: unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. But the psalm's real turn isn't a call to work less; it's an invitation to notice who you've secretly decided is holding everything up. Join us as we ask what it means to plan, work, and build as the beloved, not to earn rest, but because it was never ours to hold alone.
