BLESS Others: Listen
Luke 18:35-43
Having listened to His Father in prayer, Jesus now stops along the way on his journey to Jerusalem - where we can now look back and see that he will be crucified in about a week - to listen to the request of a blind beggar. Faithfulness is about the journey along the way as much as it is the destination -

Listen
Luke 18:35-43As we continue to explore what it means to B.L.E.S.S. the world around us, this week, we are exploring how Jesus listened to people. His listening tore down walls that often lead people to dismiss others, showed His willingness to slow down and dignify people, and led to lives being changed. Hopefully, our lives can reflect that same grace-filled and loving posture.

Listen
Luke 18: 35-43Join us as we continue in our new sermon series on the Witnessing Life titled "Bless Others" where we will journey through the (B.L.E.S.S.). Our hope is to discover how each and every follower of Jesus is called to be his Witnesses through the blessing of others. This week we will explore the importance of "listening." Today, we have lost an appreciation for the art of listening, but when we listen well (as Jesus modelled in ministry), we honor others and show them our love and concern. May we learn from Jesus' example this week, found in Luke 18, and continue to grow in how we tangibly express our love for our neighbors.
