The Holland Chorale’s opening concert of the season, Reflection, explores the rich choral canon that shaped the first American choral societies of the 19th century. Mendelssohn’s Richte Mich Gotte, Mozart’s Ave Verum, and Haydn’s Little Organ Mass are all works that were staples as American choral societies began to form and find fellowship through music.
