This week at Fusion:
Exiles: A Holy People
Peter 2:1-10

This Sunday we continue the sermon series through the New Testament letter of 1 Peter titled, "Exiles." Throughout the fall, we will consider these hope-filled words of the apostle Peter as he encourages the early church toward faithfulness in the face of resistance.  This week we consider Peter's call to the new church community to live as a new temple and a new priesthood.  We will explore what these images teach us about the people of God and how it informs what comes to mind when we hear the term - church.
