Aldea began as a non-profit in La Union, Honduras by working with coffee, corn, and bean farmers to provide microloans. Harderwyk continues to support the people of Honduras by serving Aldea Coffee each Sunday and supporting Jake & Rachel Compaan in their mission work with Abundant Life Christian School in Honduras.
