Celebration Worship Choir
 

Responsibilities:

Gather weekly to magnify Jesus through songs and relationships.  This group prepares to lead others in worship approximately 2 times per month.
  Estimated Time Commitment: 1 hour per week for preparation and approximately 2 worship gatherings per month
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must have a heart and passion for worship and a willingness to offer yourself as a sacrifice before God and others.  Share your gift of expressing love for God through music and the arts.

Celebration Total Praise
 

Responsibilities:

Gather weekly to pray for and share with one another.  This small group of singers assists in worship leadership 1 to 2 times per month
  Estimated Time Commitment: 90 minutes per week for preparation and 1 to 2 worship gathering per month
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must have a heart and passion for worship!  Share your gift of expressing love for God through music and the arts. A musical background and the ability to read music is necessary.

Celebration Ringers
 

Responsibilities:

Gather weekly to prepare to lead others in worship.  This group participates in worship usually once per month.
  Estimated Time Commitment: 1 hour per week for preparation and usually 1 worship gathering per month
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must have a heart and passion for worship!  Share your gift of expressing love for God through music and the arts.  An ability to read music is not necessary, but helpful.

Celebration “Walk-in” Orchestra
 

Responsibilities:

Gather on select Sundays to magnify Jesus through instrumental music.  This group assists in worship leadership 3 to 4 times ministry season.
  Estimated Time Commitment: Some preparation is involved with reviewing selected music prior to a Sunday rehearsal.  The orchestra then meets on a selected Sunday prior to the worship gathering, rehearses and then participates in that same day service.
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must have a heart and passion for worship!  Share your gift of expressing love for God through music and the arts. A musical background and the ability to read music is necessary.

Fusion Worship Band
 

Responsibilities:

This is a dedicated group of musicians who give shape, structure and dimension to the entire musical expression of our Fusion Service.  This group of musicians is the backbone supporting the Worship Team, special music and invited soloists, as well as the entire worshipping community. 
  Estimated Time Commitment: 6 month rotating schedule, commitment varies from once a month to as much as three times a month
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must be able to read chord charts and/or play by ear, “finding the groove” is key, must have heart for Praise and Worship music, and audition is required, 9th grade and older with any musical talent is encouraged to try out.

Fusion Worship Team
 

Responsibilities:

A dedicated group of singers and worship leaders who enable the congregation to engage in worship through music.  This team works tightly with the band to create an atmosphere of spiritual worship and celebration on Sunday mornings at the Fusion Service.
  Estimated Time Commitment: 6 months, commitment varies from once a month to as much as three times a month
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Must be able to sing “a part” by ear, music reading is not a must but helpful, a heart for worship and a confident attitude are essential, 9th grade and older, an audition is required.

Fusion Fellowship Choir
 

Responsibilities:

This consists of a large number of people who LOVE to sing Worship music.  This group joins with the Fusion Band and Praise Team ministering to and leading the congregation in worship at the Fusion Service.
  Estimated Time Commitment: Commitment level involves singing at various special Worship Celebrations and/or approximately once every two months
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Need to be able to sing LOUD and SMILE!  No tryout necessary...if you can breathe...you can sing.  Ages 9th grade and older.

Fusion Kids
 

Responsibilities:

This is ministry that was begun in the spring/summer of 2006, with kick off in the fall of 2006 during the Fusion Worship Service.  We have so many talented kids here at Harderwyk, and it is time we started to recognize and encourage the Worship Leaders of tomorrow.
  Estimated Time Commitment: Commitment level will vary
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Any child 8th grade and younger.  Must love to play and sing Worship music and most of all LOVE JESUS!

Watershed Worship Ministry
 

Responsibilities:

4 full bands (acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass, keys, and vocalists) take turns leading musical worship for both Sunday morning Watershed worship services.
  Estimated Time Commitment: Band members make a 6 month renewable commitment to this ministry, and stick with their assigned band for 6 months, practicing, praying, and playing together.  Applications and auditions are taken twice a year, in August and February
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Love for Jesus Christ, musical talent, team player attitude, humility, and ability to learn music by ear and chord charts, not sheet music.

Children’s Ministry Music Leadership
 

Responsibilities:

Throughout the year, music is a key piece of various programs within children’s ministry (Wednesday nights, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Season, etc.).  This ministry has opportunities for music lovers who can lead informal group singing with children, play piano or guitar, lead children to sing in a choir setting.
  Estimated Time Commitment: Varies
  Gifts and Passions valuable for this ministry: Love singing with children, music skills, and obvious enthusiasm.
