LAKESIDERS on Thursday morning, September 16. We will search the Scriptures on A Life Changing Belief revealed in Luke 1:32-33. All seniors are invited to come at 9:30 for fellowship and refreshments (bring some refreshment to share, if you are able.) Our Bible study will be from 10-11 am.
Discovery: Sunday, September 26 from 2:30-6 pm. Contact Christine (christinemac@harderwyk.com or x319) to sign up if you are interested in becoming a member and learning more about Harderwyk. Join us on September 19 at 6:00 pm in the worship auditorium for a concert of worship by the Evergreen Chorale under the direction of Harderwyk's own Cal Langejans and Jim De Jong. Over one hundred singers, brass choir and Harderwyk's Celebration Ringers will present the favorite choral works of past and present as we all give praise to God, This will be the first concert at Harderwyk that will feature the totally restored Wick's pipe organ. Invite your neighbors and friends as we lift our voices in praise! Community Night begins September 15. Information is available at the Info Centers or at www.harderwyk.com Removal of Trees on Church Property: We may have an opportunity to sell off selected pine trees in our back lot (no hardwoods) prior to them dying from a disease working through this area. We feel this is a prudent step to make if conditions allow for it. Our property is all mixed forest, so we would see some effect in areas, very little in others, but not near to the extent of some areas in our township. We don't know when this might take place this fall or next spring, but we wanted everyone to be aware that it might happen soon. The Watershed worship band is in need of at least one more bass player, and one or two more drummers to play once a month for all three Watershed services. Please contact Lyn Walker at 886-0985 if you're interested or have questions.
Library News: We have a few items that are missing from the Harderwyk library. Leftover SERVE Dishes are available to be picked up from the Anchor kitchen.
