Kristin Overway (Watershed) had major abdominal surgery to remove a mass from her colon. The pathology reports seem to indicate that they "got it all." She will be meeting with an oncologist in the future to determine whether or not any further treatment will be necessary. The doctor on Monday indicated that it would be surprising if there were to be any further treatment. This is the 'best case' scenario. Praise God!
We thank God that Samara De Jonge's (Celebration) test results show that she has now been cancer-free for three years. Although she will continue to have annual appointments with her oncologist, she no longer needs CT scans.
