Beacon Tree Senior Ministry:
Beacon Tree Senior Ministry seeks to equip and empower those within the Harderwyk Community, maturing in our Christian walk together through spiritual, mental and physical growth opportunities through education, outreach and fellowship opportunities. No matter our age, we will keep on:
Learning: The Word of God. There is no such thing as a mature Christian, only maturing Christians. “My Son, pay close attention to what I say, listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart, for they are life to those who find them, and health to a man’s whole body. Proverbs 4:20-22
Loving: God and Others. Be united in Christ , be like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Phil. 2
Longing: To retire and do nothing is wrong. What do you still hope to accomplish? Reach and Stretch. Never be lacking zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11
Laughing: Intentionally practice a joyful heart. A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22
Leaning: Spend intentional time with your Father...He is the Lord of your life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
